Vangelis Mavronicolas was born at Konia of Paphos on 1962. He studied Architecture from 1981 to 1986 at National Metsovio Technical University of Athens.
During his studies he worked as assistant sculptor at the workshop of George Kalakallas.
From 1987 he works as freelant Architect at Paphos.
He has designed a lot of small and large scale Buildings at Cyprus, Greece and Lebanon
He is PHD CANDIDATE at National Metsovio Technical University of Athens.

1st Prizes in Architectural competitions.
1st Prize in the Panhellenic Competition for Ideas for Homes Ministry of Town and Spatial Planning - GREECE 1987
1st Prize in the Architectural Competition for a Monument of Tylliria 1989
1st Prize in the Architectural Competition for the Cooperative Building and Events Hall at Pomos 1992
1st Prize in the Architectural Competition for the Cultural Center of Mousallas-Paphos 2000
1st Prize in the Private Architectural Competition for “Pittokopition Megaron” at Paphos 2003
